Q: What information do movers need for an accurate quote?

Your addresses and move date, every room including the garage, attic and any storage unit, stairs and elevators, large or heavy items like pianos and safes, and whether you want packing or storage.

Q: How fast will I get my quote?

The same day. Once a moving consultant has seen your home, your written quote goes out that day.

No. The hourly rate on your quote is locked in. Local moves are billed by the hour, so your final bill follows the actual time the move takes.

What Information Do Movers Need for an Accurate Quote?

Stairs, elevators, long walks to the truck, and building move-in rules or HOA elevator reservations

How do movers account for stairs, elevators and heavy items?

Local moves are priced by the hour, so anything that adds time is built into your estimate as extra hours. Pianos, safes and long stair carries also have additional charges, and your moving consultant includes them in the quote so there are no surprises.

How fast will I get my quote?

The same day. Once a moving consultant has seen your home, by video, walkthrough or phone, your written quote goes out that day.

Can the price change on moving day?

No. The hourly rate on your quote is locked in and doesn't change on moving day. Because local moves are billed by the hour, your final bill follows the actual time the move takes. Do you give estimates for long-distance moves?

Yes. Long-distance moves are quoted separately, not by the hour. You get your quote the same way: a video, a walkthrough or a call.

I was at her old place to greet the three gentlemen who arrived to help us with her move.  The three were absolutely perfect.
