Downsizing Help
Can you help decide what to keep, donate or sell?
Yes. We help sort what to keep, donate or sell. We haul away donations and junk, pick up donations, and work with estate sale partners for items worth selling.
Do you plan where furniture goes in the new place?
Yes. We measure the new home and plan where each piece goes, so only what fits makes the trip.
Moving Into a Senior Community
Do you work with assisted living and senior communities?
Yes. We coordinate move-in times, elevator reservations and insurance certificates directly with the community.
Can I manage my parent's move from out of town?
Yes. You can book, pay and get updates remotely. A video walkthrough with your parent lets our specialist see the home without you being there.
Setting Up the New Home
Do you set up the new home?
Yes. We make the beds, hang pictures, mount TVs and unpack the kitchen, so the new place feels like home on day one.
What happens to things that don't fit the new place?
Store them in our climate-controlled vaults at $60 to $75 per vault per month, with no minimum stay. See storage between homes.
How much does a senior move cost?
Senior moves use our regular hourly rates: $150 an hour for 2 movers and a truck, $225 for 3 movers and $300 for 4, with a 2-hour minimum and a 1-hour trip charge. Seniors who are downsizing get 10% off. See our Houston moving rates and how packing is priced.
